Contract Negotiation

As a core element of Cogent's outsourcing management process for clients, we utilize the collective experience of our staff and Associate Partners to assist in negotiating and finalizing domain- and project-specific contract terms and conditions, as clients select and finalize Service Provider contracts for their projects.

We focus on the core elements of a Provider contract centered on work scope; performance; timelines and milestones; pricing; change orders; and reporting, as they apply to domain-specific standards and applications.

As with Cogent's RFI and RFP service offerings, we maintain a database of domain-specific contract terms and conditions, which provides a realistic baseline of current acceptable industry standards for contract elements under negotiation. In combination with the expert knowledge of our staff and Associate Partners, this provides increased leverage in negotiating optimal contract terms, and accelerates the contracting process.
